Life – October 2016

Hello World,

Here we are already in Mid-October and I can thankfully say things are going smoothly now for the most part. I was in a pretty bad state in September, but compared to last year, almost 100% better. At this time last year, I lost about $30K of properly invested, turned day traded sweat equity. Around the same time, I had given my nest egg of $10K to my parents to payback an old family member.. Lost another great friend at the time bout 2 months prior to that so my mind was absolutely gone by November-December. 10-11 months later, here we are. Things are really really really better.

Let’s just say.. I am grateful to have great people around me.

2 of my brothers are my heart & soul who stuck by me at my darkest hour.

My cousins on my mothers side are the truly the greatest. They know who they are. 3 of my favorite people in the world. Since they were kids, they were always the same. My other cousin on the same side is one of the best as well. Was with 2 of them this weekend and it was such a great time. Nonstop laughter. Doesn’t get any better than that.

My parents continue to work hard now heading into their 50’s and 60’s. Unbelievable. I am pushing to higher heights so I can ensure they are safe no matter what happens. I am right below them and will catch them if God forbid they fall into a financial hole again. Millennials, it’s time for the sons to rise. Make something of your life NOW! Our folks are getting older and now it’s time for the transition. If you’re in your late teens or early 20’s, read a finance book and start investing in yourself ASAP. Maybe that’s why youth is spoiled on the young. They are spending time instead of investing it.

Well guys, nothing really left to say besides I am still working hard, staying as transactionless (not a real word) as possible, increasing the savings rate, increasing the portfolio income. All while still enjoying the good life. If market tanks soon because of elections or some other weird reason, the journey will continue. I will continue accumulating and reinvesting the dividends. Thanks to anyone who took the time to read my life post. Let’s keep on pushing.

PS: DivHustler, DivHut, MrSLM, InvestmentHunting, Brian, Jon..

I wish you guys the absolute best. Thank you for inspiring me in your own unique ways. Peace!
